Will I have to go to Court?

Whether you have a personal injury claim, a neighbour dispute or a simple debt matter, it is not always the case that you would have to go to Court. Most litigated matters are done by correspondence but even when these avenues have been exhausted and there is a need to involve the Courts, there is a lengthy process before the need for Court attendance. It is not usually until the very end of the matter that Court attendance would be required. This would be the last resort because usually all parties would not reach this point unless there was an argument that they would want to pursue. At all stages your legal representative will confirm what tactics can be used to encourage settlement. However, it is important to now that all litigation can be expensive and should not be taken lightly. There is always a risk in litigation and as such all parties should be aware that the Court process should be avoided if at all possible, that being said sometimes this is required in order to rectify the issues in hand.
